On April 8, 2009, I had the pleasure of presenting Orange County Community Foundation’s Power-Packed Philanthropist Award to Bill McGarvey for his more than four decades of philanthropic work and community service within the city of Fullerton and throughout Orange County. Along with the award, we presented Bill with a $5,000 grant to the charity of his choice, which he directed to the Fullerton Rotary Foundation for their community granting program.  More...

I wanted to share an exciting update regarding our See the Need, Seed the Change community initiative… Due to the extraordinary response of so many donors, the $750,000 campaign goal has not only been achieved but exceeded - an extraordinary response surpassing all of our expectations. 

Following the official conclusion of the campaign on March 20, I have continued to receive calls and emails asking if it is too late to contribute. I want to emphatically confirm that it is NOT TOO LATE to make your own response to the extraordinary needs in our community, if you’ve not already done so. More...
